What sources does Regeno use to make organic castings?
We source organic waste from local farms and food producers. Our materials undergo rigorous testing to ensure no contamination by plastics, pesticides, or herbicides. We're meticulous about eliminating microplastics. To create nutrient-rich castings, we feed our worms a mix of manures, composts, food waste, and more. Can I use Worm Castings in my garden and on seedlings as a fertilizer?
Absolutely! Worm castings are an amazing organic fertilizer. Plus, you can't overuse them. They're perfect for nurturing vegetables and even lawns, depending on your needs.
How do I use Worm Castings?
You have a few options:
- Top Dressing: Apply 0.5-1cm of castings at the base of your plants and water in with dechlorinated water. Outdoor? Add mulch for moisture retention.
- Potting Mixes: Mix 10-30% castings into your soil blend.
- Worm Tea: Castings are full of living microorganisms, so avoid chlorinated water. Aerate tap water for 2 hours, add 2 cups of castings per 10 liters, and brew for 24-48 hours at room temperature. Use the brew within 6 hours for best results.
Do you post Australia Wide?
Unfortunately, due to quarantine restrictions, we currently ship worm and soil products exclusively to Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Canberra. Keep an eye on our updates, as this policy may change in the future.
